Yes, I know it looks like a toddler painted my nails, but I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!I love having painted nails but am an arborist/ wildland firefighter/emt, so it isn’t really practical for me to get my nails done. I never really thought of getting the gel kits because they were so pricey and again, with what I do, just didn’t make sense but I stumbled upon this and am so glad I did!! You get a good choice of colors, base and top coat and the cutest little uv light + some nail files!! for 9.99$?! You really can’t go wrong! As some people stated, yes, the polish colors are pretty small, but I think for the price, you are still getting a great deal and you really don’t need much. It does go on thick as others stated but I feel like it is pretty easy to evenly distribute, so that really hasn’t bothered me much. I guess I don’t really have anything to compare this to as this is my first time purchasing gel polish, but for the true beginner (me) so far, so good and I highly recommend!

I purchased this starter set because I wanted to save money by polishing my nails myself instead of paying the salon. I polished my nails the day we were to attend a wedding. This was very risky, but I took my time and did the base coat, two coats of polish, and then the top coat. I ran the uv lamp two times in between each coat. The uv lamp is a little small but that’s ok because it is workable and I only paid $10 for the entire kit. My nails are shiny and smooth. I also polished my toes and they turned out great! This kit did not disappoint me. At first, my husband said for me to just go to the salon because it would be easier and I told him no, that I was saving us money! Haha he was concerned but then was pleasantly surprised. He said that they look nice and that I did a good job. My son even complimented me. I felt good about how my nails turned out and didn’t worry about scratching off the polish. I felt even better knowing the money that I saved! The polish did not have a strong smell at all which is a plus for my scent allergies. I will be purchasing more polish because the bottles are small and I would like to try more colors.

You get what you pay for here. There is a large variety of polish with great colors and good wear. But the bottles are less than half a normal sized bottle. This is great if you want to sample a lot of colors before committing to a full bottle
